The Northmont Band Premiere has welcomed generations of performers and marching arts fans to Clayton! Now in its 59th year, Premiere gives ensembles an early-season opportunity to share their new field shows with an enthusiastic audience and receive constructive feedback from an outstanding panel of adjudicators.
This is a non-competitive exhibition: an evening celebrating student performers, bold new productions, and the beginning of another marching band season.

Premiere concludes with the power and excitement of a college marching band. We are thrilled to welcome the YSU Marching Pride to Premier Health Stadium for a special guest performance at approximately 9:05 PM.

Parking, Arrival & Directions
Premier Health Stadium is located on the Northmont High School campus at 4916 National Road in Clayton.
Spectator Parking
Parking is free. Spectators should follow event signs to the designated spectator entrance and parking areas.
Band & Bus Traffic
Participating-band buses and equipment vehicles will use a separate entrance. Drivers should follow the arrival instructions supplied to their directors and all event signage.
When to Arrive
Gates open at 6:30 PM. Arriving early provides time to park, purchase admission, visit concessions, and find seats before the 6:50 PM welcome.

Is Premiere a competition?
No. Northmont Premiere is a non-competitive early-season exhibition. Participating ensembles perform for an appreciative audience and receive constructive feedback from a panel of adjudicators.
What time do performances begin?
Gates open at 6:30 PM, followed by the welcome at 6:50 PM and National Anthem at 6:55 PM. Dixie High School begins the band performances at 7:00 PM.
How much are admission and parking?
Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for seniors, military members, and children. Parking is free.
Will concessions be available?
Yes. Food and beverages will be available from the stadium concession stand. Arrive early or visit during the scheduled 7:55 PM intermission.
What is the critique listed after the performances?
The critique is a feedback session for participating directors and staff. Spectators do not need to remain for the critique; the public performance portion concludes after the Youngstown State University Marching Pride.
